Your mood,
at a glance
Every entry is saved with a mood score from 1-10. The trend line instantly shows you how your mood develops over time - and serves as a conversation starter for therapy sessions.
Built for people in therapy, between sessions, or on the waiting list. The same clinical screenings your therapist uses (PHQ-9, GAD-7, K10) plus 100+ factors that reveal the patterns.
InnerPulse grew out of a need of my own. Before the app existed, I typed mood scores and questionnaires into Excel by hand. What bothered me was how carelessly many providers treat exactly that kind of data. Mental health is the last place for data trading or subscription traps. So InnerPulse runs entirely on your device, costs once, and never pressures you.The full story →

Slide the dial, pick factors like exercise, sleep, or stress, and optionally add a short note. Done. Even when writing feels like too much - one tap is enough. Recurring tags are suggested automatically.
InnerPulse includes validated clinical questionnaires - PHQ-4, PHQ-9, K10 and GAD-7. The same instruments used in psychiatric practice, framed as support rather than self-diagnosis. Track your scores over time; bring the CSV export to your next therapy appointment.
InnerPulse automatically calculates the impact of each factor on your mood. Sleep, exercise, stress, doomscrolling - 100+ factors reveal patterns you can't see on your own.
Mood data is only useful when you log it honestly. Honesty needs trust. That's why InnerPulse runs completely offline - on your device, nowhere else. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Made in Europe.
I've been in therapy for a while and we're still working with paper sheets there. With the app I finally have a good way to track my mood, get an overview and reflect. On top of that the export works great, I can now simply email everything to my therapist. Very helpful and well structured! Thank you!
Admirable dedication to provide such an important app, and to do it at a fixed price and without a dubious vendor cloud. Please keep it up!
I've been tracking my mood somehow for years, but only here do I actually see patterns. The analysis simply shows what's going on without judging me. Exactly what I need.
I wanted to pull my data into Numbers to build my own plots. The export is a proper CSV: date, score, factors, note, questionnaire results. No weird nesting, no broken special characters. Loaded into Numbers and R within five minutes. Kudos to the developers for thinking this through.
Master's phase, an exam every few weeks, emptiness in between. In InnerPulse I set up factors for study hours, caffeine and social contact, and now I clearly see where I tip over. From six hours of studying without movement it gets bad. Sounds like common sense, but seeing it visualized is simply something else. Now I fit in a walk or a run here and there.
It feels like a journal that truly belongs to me. Local and without a subscription + Face ID as a lock. What I really like are the smart factors. I don't have to tap dozens of things every day because sleep, exercise and the like simply flow in automatically.
I have been using a spreadsheet for the exact same purpose. This replaces that entirely. Tracking factors in my life like that, has been an absolute game changer and this app makes it even easier. I would love to be able to track other metrics like anxiety, hypervigilance and such. Thank you
Clinical questionnaires and over 100 influence factors show you what lifts you and what drags you down. Ten seconds per entry, the first patterns within a few weeks.
